Goal: Create an awareness of current internet technology/learning practices

Introduction of Current Internet Technologies (During half day staff development sessions)
Discussion - teachers were informed that our team was going to expose them to new interenet resources, possible effects that these new technologies have on the education system, and the need to educate students on the proper use of the technologies to compete in a global economy.
Videos - Examples were used to guide discussion and describe the use/purpose
Guided Practice - Teachers were given the time to explore a sample wiki created by the team. Teachers/Adminstrators were asked to post a comment in the discussion area to further their engagement.
Select 4 Web 2.0 Tools to present to the faculties during staff development days. Faculty members would be encouraged to incorporate these tools in their annual professional performance reviews (APPR).
During staff development days (SDD) workshops focusing on these tools would be offered from which they could select.
